Jade Mitchell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at Michigan State University. She received a PhD degree in Environmental Engineering and MS in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. She also holds a BS (Civil and Environmental Engineering) from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interests are in human health risk analysis including statistical and decision analytic modeling to support risk management decisions for chemical and microbial stressors. Her work includes risks prioritization for chemical and food safety as well as bioterrorism response.
